This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. (1 Corinthians 4:1)
Servants at The Mill
We believe that every position of service is a vocation, and something that the Holy Spirt puts upon the hearts of His Redeemed (Ephesians 2:10, Matthew 12:18, Matthew 24:46, John 12:26). Although there may be distinct roles of spiritual authority within the structure Christ has instituted in His Church, we are all many members of One Body, and each position of service is not only significant but imperative for the overall health of the Ekklēsia in its entirety with no one position being higher valued over another (Ephesians 4:4-7, Ephesians 4:11-12). We are all bondservants of One Master (1 Corinthians 7:22) and must not be quarrelsome but be kind to one another, patiently and compassionately serving by the grace of God that has been showed to us in Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 2:24-25, Ephesians 4:32).
Elders
The Mill Christian Fellowship affirms the importance of church leadership. For a church to function correctly, there needs to be a Biblical standard of leadership. This is so important, that the Apostle Paul ensures that his apprentices, Timothy and Titus, not only understood but also exclusively installed, Elders who met a specific level of character and doctrinal understanding (1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9).
Leadership at The Mill is structured as a plurality of Elders within a Baptist framework in accordance to our by-laws and guiding principles. Those who are in a full-time pastoral role, or those who serve as lay elders make up the board of spiritual overseers labouring alongside the lead pastor. The Mill is committed to ensuring that those serving as Elders have been thoroughly examined and are deemed qualified men who are responsible for the spiritual direction, formation, and governance of the church.

Deacons
To free the pastor and elders for the work of spiritual oversight, deacons perform various services that are essential to the church operations. All decaons serving are men who have met the qualifications of service in 1 Timothy 3:8-13. Their love for Christ and His church is evident. Each deacon has been approved by Scripture and overseers of The Mill.

Directors
Our directors serve by carefully reviewing important decisions and making sure finances are handled with integrity. Their role is to help ensure that all records and spending reflect the mission God has given our church. They work closely with the deacons and elders (Acts 6:1–4) as we plan projects and ministry initiatives. Some directors also serve as deacons within our church plant efforts, supporting both the practical needs of the church and the everyday needs of the people.

Ministry Workers
The Mill Christian Fellowship relies upon the faithful men and women who serve here at the church. All individuals serving in any capacity are those who have met the qualifications of Christian workers and use their unique God-given gifts in various areas of service (1 Corinthians 12:27-30). Their love for Christ and calling into ministry has been approved by the board of Elders who oversee all church-sanctioned activities to ensure that they are in line with the direction of the church.
