Maple Abolition II Conference and Mission
Registration is now Open
Overview
Maple Abolition is a Christian conference and mission calling the Canadian Church to recover its biblical responsibility to speak for the voiceless and defend the dignity of every human life. As the second conference in this growing Canadian movement, Maple Abolition calls believers to courageously confront the reality of abortion, equip the church to advocate for mothers and their children, and work toward a nation where every human life is valued, protected, and given the opportunity to flourish.
We believe the Church cannot remain silent when the vulnerable have no voice. The Gospel compels us to speak, serve, defend and act.

Paul Gowdy
Pastor/Outreach
Durham, ON
Paul was raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He became a Christian in the Presbyterian Church at 15 years of age. His conversion kept him out of prison by following a family tradition of "political activism." At 16, he started preaching the gospel on the doorsteps of many homes in Belfast to both Loyalist & Republican communities. He spent his weekends doing street evangelism and outreach. At age 21, he started training as a missionary in Scotland. It was there that he met his Canadian wife, Christine. He immigrated to Canada in 1991, settled here and God graciously gave us five children. He joined the Vineyard Church shortly after his arrival in Canada, became a pastor and served there during a time known as the 'Toronto Blessing.' After 4 years of pastoring, the Lord started to open his eyes to the deception associated with this movement & its "Blessings". He repented and renounced such practice and ended up, because of his opposition, becoming a very much despised ex-charismatic. This has led him in recent years to opposing much of the Statist church in Canada when they closed their doors and complied with the State during their covid mandates. He planted a small 1689 Particular Baptist Reformed assembly & determined to assemble no matter the cost. After a couple of years, the Church in Canada returned to her normal and he shut down that small assembly.

Aaron Best
Evangelist
Brampton ON
Aaron Best is a member and lay evangelist at Church of the City Brampton. Aaron has been doing street evangelism for 20 years. In recent years, abolition convictions and a view to the crown rights of King Jesus have further spurred him against the gates of hell in open-air preaching, graphic imagery, and, as a family, towards embryo rescue. He, his wife Anne, and their three children minister in the heart of Brampton through family worship at their kitchen table and outward, through evangelism, into rebel territory.

About The Mill Christian Fellowship
Here at The Mill, our mission is to glorify GOD alone through all that we do (1 Corinthians 10:31). We strive to make disciples by teaching the Word of God, which is the pillar that holds us up in our teaching. Through expository preaching, we unwrap the meaning of Scripture and intent of the text provided. Through prayer, service and witness, our goal is to impact our neighbours in Mississauga for the cause of Christ, and to make disciples of all ethnos as we fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).
