Youth Ministry

Regardless of your child’s age, we care about their spiritual growth and want to equip both children and parents to grow together in the grace and knowledge of Christ

Children's Nursery

When: Sunday at 10:30am
For Ages: 0-5

Note to Parents: Parents are to sign in their child every time they drop off their child for nursery. Have your child’s essentials (diapers, bottle, snacks, etc.) in a bag with their name and please tell nursery workers ahead of time of any particular instructions or allergies that need to be addressed. You may be called from the service if there are needs that cannot be addressed by Nursery workers.

If you wish to breastfeed your child, you may come into the nursery to do so. Please make sure to bring a cover for you and your child's privacy.

What to expect

Parents with infants, toddlers and very young children will be able to listen to the sermon on Sundays while assured that their children are taken care of through our Nursery ministry every Sunday. We provide a safe and fun environment for your child to explore, play, read and nap.

Even from a very young age, it is important to start introducing biblical material to children whether it be through song, play or media that is centered on Christ. Our Nursery workers will help to engage your child while slowly introducing Christ's love to them.

Children's Church

When: Sunday at 10:30am
For Ages: 6-11

Note to Parents: Parents are to bring children to the main sanctuary to participate in congregational worship through song and the reading of God's Word, after which children will be dismissed to Children's Church. We believe it is important for children to participate in worshipping the Lord with the whole congregation.

What to expect

Teaching children the fundamentals of who God is, why He loves us and how He loves us through God’s word will help pave the path for them to not only learn the importance of moral conduct from a biblical aspect but also the weight and importance of accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour as fallen and imperfect humans.

We believe that teaching children to read God's word and to understand what they are reading is important. We focus on engaging children through class discussions, memory verses and Question & Answer sheets which develop their reading, writing and comprehension skills.

Parents Get Involved

Children's Church is just a small part of a child’s development regarding spiritual matters and we at The Mill understand the importance and responsibility that God has given to parents to rear up their children in the fear and knowledge of the Lord. Children will be given weekly activity sheets to bring home for parents to help children keep accountable for and to help them develop habits that will aid them in the future as they come to a greater realization of their need for Christ in their lives. Being involved in your child’s spiritual growth is essential and by growing alongside them, both parents and children can come to a deeper appreciation for the love of Christ .

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
